Chapter 11

Two weeks later,

In these two weeks, whenever Shivansh sees Avni and Prithvi together, he scolds them which makes Avni and Prithvi confused. 

Prithvi talked about this to Rohan,who told him about Dr Shivansh’s strict nature and why everyone in the hospital call him Dr Devil.

One day, Avni was in the hospital when she saw the same girl entering Shivansh’s cabin, whom she had seen with him in restaurant that day.

Avni felt something burning inside her. Avni kept roaming around his cabin, wanting to know what's happening inside.

When they didn't come outside after fifteen minutes, she picked a file and knocked on his cabin.

“ Come in”, She heard his voice and entered the cabin.

“ Dr Shivansh this report…..”, Avni said, looking at him who was sitting on the couch very close to the girl. 

She looked at both of them from head to toe.

“ Yes?”, Shivansh asked her, looking at her.

“ This report…”, Avni said, looking in his eyes.

“ We will talk about it later. I am busy right now”, Shivansh told her.

Avni's face falls upon hearing Shivansh’s words.

“ Okay”, she whispered softly and left his cabin.

Everything was noticed by the girl, who was looking at Shivansh and Avni with curious eyes.

Shivansh didn't remove his eyes from Avni till she left his cabin and he was unable to see her.

“ You like her, right?”, the girl asked him with a teasing tone.

“ It's nothing like that Dia”, Shivansh said, looking away from her.

“ Stop lying Shivansh. I know you from the time when we were in diapers. I can clearly see your feelings towards her. And let me tell you, your feelings are mutual. She likes you as well”, Dia told him with a smile.

“ Really?? Do you think so?”, Shivansh asked, turning towards her, waiting for her reply.

“ Yes!! I have seen her eyes. Otherwise what do you think why she had come to your cabin when I am here?”, Dia asked him.

“ Maybe she didn't know about your presence”, Shivansh said to her.

“ No, you are wrong. She had seen me entering your cabin. Maybe you didn't noticed but her face fell when you asked her not to disturb us”,Dia told him.

Shivansh thought about what Dia had  said and a smile appeared on his face.

“ You know I have never thought I will see such a day in my life, when my Dr Shivansh will blush thinking about a girl”, Dia said, teasing him.

“ Dia!!”, he said in a stern voice, trying to hide his blush.

Dia laughed hearing him still pretending in front of her.

“ Do you need my help? I can help you in proposing her”, Dia offered him.

“ No thanks. I will manage. Now we should focus on work. Tomorrow surgery is very important for us”, Shivansh said, making her shut her mouth.

Dia is his childhood best friend, who is also a Doctor and living abroad along with her husband and son.

She had come to India with her family for vacations and for her patient who needed urgent surgery. When she came to India, she talked to Shivansh and asked his help in this surgery.

With a heavy heart, Avni went to do her work. Whenever she thought about Shivansh spending time with that girl,she felt a burning sensation inside her.

She was checking a patient when Manvi came to her.

“ Avni”, Manvi called her name.

“ What?”Avni said in a frustrated tone.

“ Sorry ... .I am just…”, Avni said, releasing her mistake.

“ It's okay!! Relax!! Tell me what happened?”Manvi asked her.

“ Nothing just ... .I am feeling a little tired”, Avni lied.

“ Then you should take some rest….”, Manvi told her.

“ Yes!! I am thinking of taking leave tomorrow…”, Avni told her.

“Good!! Just focus on your health and don't worry about work. We all are here to handle it”, Manvi told Avni who gave her a weak smile.

After finishing her work, Avni went to Dr Shivansh’s cabin to apply for leave. When entered the door,she saw them still together.

“ Yes?”Shivansh asked Avni.

“ Dr Shivansh, I am not feeling well. I will not be able to come tomorrow.”, Avni told him, hiding her emotions.

“ Okay!! You can go. Just inform the Administration department before going”, Shivansh told her.

Avni left the cabin without turning back, controlling her tears.

She left the hospital and went to her house. 

As soon as she entered her room, she burst into tears.

She lay on the bed over her stomach, crying badly. And the most important thing is ,she doesn't know why she is crying.

Suddenly she heard her cell phone ringing. She checked and found her brother Ayush calling her.

She didn't pick the call and messaged him that she is in the hospital and will call him later.

Right now,she is not in the situation to talk to anyone.

“ Why am I crying?? Why is it painful to see him with another girl?? What is happening to me?”, she questioned herself again and again.

She thought about her first meeting with him. A small smile appeared on her lips, thinking about him. But when she remembered the morning scene,her smile vanished.

She is not able to understand her own feelings and emotions.

She was thinking about her feelings the whole evening when she remembered something. She remembered what Rohan had told them about his feelings,how he felt jealous when he saw Megha with someone else.

“ What I am feeling is jealousy?? Am I getting jealous seeing him with another girl?? Am I falling in love with him?”She questioned herself.

A big smile appeared on her face, finally realising her feelings.

“ I am in love with him….I am in love with My Arrogant Mentor ... .I am in love with Dr Devil…”, Avni starts mumbling with a big smile on her lips.

“ I can't believe this, I am in love…..”, She said screaming and jumping on her bed.

“ I have to tell him….yes…I have to confess my feelings before it's too late”, Avni thought and decided to confess to him  tomorrow morning.

She lay down on the bed and starts thinking about her future. She thought about her future with him, starts dreaming about her upcoming life.

She don't know when she went into deep slumber thinking about him.
