Chapter 4:- Two Families Meet

In the living room, everyone was waiting for Ekansh to say something.

" What happened, Ekansh?",His grandfather, Mr Daksh Singh Shekhawat, asked.

" I want to tell everyone something important about Aarav", Ekansh said.

" Aarav has a girlfriend and he wants to marry her", Ekansh said, without any hesitation.

Everyone's eyes widened hearing him.

" Really??"Anamika, Ekansh's aunt, asked.

Ekansh nodded his head, making her smile in happiness.

" Who is the girl?"Daksh, his grandfather, asked.

" Her name is Ishani Rathore, daughter of Dhruv Rathore. She is a fashion designer and runs a boutique", Ekansh said.

" My son is going to get married", Anamika said, emotionally.

" How is the girl?", Daksh asked Ekansh.

"Dadu,  She is a nice girl. Her family is also good", Ekansh said, ensuring everyone.

Ekansh's family  trusts him a lot. They know he must have enquired about the girl's family and after ensuring everything,he must have talked with them.

" Great!!", Varun said happily.

" When are we going to meet the girl?", Gayatri, Ekansh's grandmother, asked.

" Let's ask our grandson", Daksh said, holding his wife's hand.

" Let me call him", Ekansh said and asked Aarav to come to the living room.

" Kavya is coming back tomorrow. You should go and meet her", Gayatri said to Ekansh.

" Dadi, I have a very important meeting. I will go some other day", Ekansh replied.

" And when are you going shopping for your marriage?? You need to take Kavya with you for shopping", Sanyukta said.

" Mom, please take her and let her buy whatever she wants", Ekansh said, making Sanyukta sigh.

They were talking when Aarav entered the room, looking nervous.

" You have a girlfriend", Daksh asked in a stern voice.

" Yes,Dadu!!", Aarav whispered.

" When are we going to her house??"Daksh asked, making Aarav's eyes widened.

" Really?? You guys agreed??", Aarav asked.

Everyone nodded their head, making him beam with happiness.

" Thank you, Bhai", he said, hugging Ekansh.

Ekansh gave Aarav a pat on the back, smiling slightly.

" So when are we going to meet our daughter in-law?", Anamika asked her son.

" She has not talked with her family. We were waiting for your acceptance before talking with her family. I will ask her to talk with her family about us", Aarav said, smiling.

" Good!! Let us know when her family is ready to meet us", Daksh said, making Aarav nod his head.

Aarav happily went to his room and called Ishani.

" Hello", Ishani said,from the other side of the phone.

" Hey, baby!! I have good news for you", Aarav said happily.

" What??"Ishani asked.

" I told my family about you and they want to meet you and your family", Aarav said happily.

" Really??", Ishani asked.

" Yes!! I was so scared but thanks to Bhai, everyone agreed", Aarav said.

" Thank God!!"Ishani said happily.

" When are you going to talk with your family?", Aarav asked.

" Tomorrow morning", Ishani replied, feeling nervous.

" Don't worry!! I am sure they will agree and finally you will be mine", Aarav said, making her blush.

After talking with each other, they hung up the call and went to sleep.

Ishani was very nervous about talking with her parents about Aarav and her relationship.

Next day,

Ishani and her family were having breakfast when….

" I want to talk about something", Ishani said, nervous.

" What happened?", Aarnav asked.

" Dad!! Mom!! I love someone", she said, without looking in their eyes.

" Who??"Dhruv asked.

" His name is Aarav Singh Shekhawat", She said.

" COO of Shekhawat group of Industries??", Aarav asked.

" Yes!!"She whispered.

" He told his family about us yesterday. They want to meet our family", Ishani said.

" Okay!! Ask them to come tomorrow evening. I will meet the boy and his family after then we will decide further. You know I can't give my daughter to any irresponsible man", Dhruv said, making  Ishani jump in happiness.

" Thank you,Dad",Ishani said, hugging her father happily.

" Hello??"They heard Adya's voice from Aarnav's cell phone. Aarnav has made a video call to Adya.

" Hey Adya!!", Aarnav said, smiling.

" How are you all??", Adya asked, giving a smile to her family.

" We are good. You know why, our Ishani was forcing both of us to get married??", Aarnav asked, naughtily.

" Why??", Adya asked,not understanding his meaning.

" Bhai", Ishani said, trying to stop him.

" Because After us, it will be her turn to get married. She has even found a boy for herself. Our sister is all set to get married", Aarnav said, teasing Ishani.

" Bhai!! Don't tease me", Ishani said, hiding her face in her father's arms.

" Really?? Ishani, I am very angry with you. Why didn't you tell me?", Adya said, showing fake anger.

" Sorry Dii", Ishani said, holding her ears.

Adya talked with her family for some minutes before hanging up the call.

Next day,

" Everything is ready?"Gayatri asked her daughters -in-law.

"Yes, Mom", Anamika said happily.

" Good!! We should be going now", Gayatri said to everyone.

After some minutes, everyone left for Rathore Mansion.

Dhruv, Advika and Aarnav welcomed them in the house.

Men were talking with each other while women were busy in themselves, trying to understand each other's families.

Dhruv asked Aarav some questions about his future with Ishani. Aarav answered everything with confidence. Dhruv was very impressed with Aarav.

Aarnav was talking with Daksh and Ekansh about business.

Daksh was very impressed by Aarnav's thinking regarding family.

In Ekansh's family, everyone was impressed with the Rathore family.

The Rathore family was also impressed with Aarav and the Shekhawat family.

The Shekhawat family being the richest family in Jaipur are very down to earth.

After some time, Advika brings Ishani downstairs. Aarav was looking at her with his mouth wide open, giving a chance to Riya, Ayush and Dhriti to tease him.

Aarnav's eyes went to Riya without his knowledge, making a small smile appear on his face seeing her smile.

Riya felt someone's gaze on her, making her turn towards Aarnav. Their eyes collided for a second before they broke eye contact, feeling their heart skip a beat.

Ishani was made to sit with Aarav's family. She politely talks with Aarav's family members.

Everyone in the Shekhawat family is very satisfied with Ishani and her family.

After having dinner, the Shekhawat family left for their home happily.
