Chapter 2:- Meet Him

Shekhawat office,

" What the hell is this?? Is this the way to do the work?? You are fired", A handsome man said angrily to one of his employees.

" I am sorry,Sir. Please give me a chance,I will fix it", the employee begged.

" It's your second mistake. Ekansh Singh Shekhawat doesn't give anyone a third chance. Now Get Out!"He roared, making his employee shiver in fear.

The employee hurriedly went out, shivering. Other employees gave him a pity look, guessing what would have happened in the boss's cabin.

He is the third employee of this week who has been fired by their boss and CEO Ekansh Singh Shekhawat.

Everyone in the office is very scared of him because he is a perfectionist. He can't accept even a single mistake in work.

Everyone in the office respects him as well as fears him.

Inside the cabin, Ekansh got busy in making some changes in the file.

This project is very important and he can't afford any mistakes in this project.

Ekansh's only dream is to take his family business to new heights and make his family proud.

He was working in his cabin when he received a call from his mother Mrs Sanyukta Viraj Singh Shekhawat.

" Hey,Mom!!"He said politely, after receiving the call.

" Where are you?", His mother asked impatiently.

" In office", he replied while checking his work files.

" I have asked you to come early, Do you remember?? Kavya and her parents are here to have dinner with us. Everyone is waiting for you", She said, feeling disappointed.

Kavya Goenka is his fiance. They had their engagement last week. It's not like they love each other, in fact he didn't even know Kavya before the engagement.

Goenka's are one of their clients. Kavya's father, Mr Goenka, liked Ekansh in the first meeting so he talked to Ekansh's family about Ekansh's marriage with his daughter.

Ekansh's family has known the Goenka family for a long time.

Ekansh had already left his marriage decision to his parents because he has no one in his life and he is not very much interested in love and marriage.

His family knows his nature so they fixed his marriage with Kavya after asking his decision.

" I forgot", he said,ready to hear his mother's scowling.

" I want you here within 20 minutes", his mother said, strictly.

" I am coming", Ekansh said, before closing his file.

In Shekhawat House,

" I don't know when he will stop thinking about work only and will think about himself and his fiancee. He need to relax and enjoy his life instead of working all day in office.", His mother, complaint to his aunt, Mrs Anamika Varun Singh Shekhawat.

Both daughter in-laws of Shekhawat family were in the kitchen, seeing whether dinner is ready or not.

" It's okay, Bhabhi!! He will change after his marriage. He will start to spend more time at home, I am sure", Anamika said, confidentially.

" I hope so.." Sanyukta replied.

Both of them went to the living room where Shekhawat family and Goenka family were sitting.

" Ekansh will be here soon", Sanyukta said, politely

" It's okay!! We understand,he might be busy", Mr Goenka said, not minding his absence while Kavya was sitting silence like they were not talking about her fiancee.

" It's okay,Sanyu Mom. Once Bhabhi comes, Bhai will leave his first wife", Ayush said, giving an innocent smile.

" What?? First wife??", Mrs Goenka asked in disbelief.

Everyone's eyes widened hearing him.

" I mean his office. After All his office is his first wife", Ayush said in a teasing way, making everyone laugh except Kavya.

" True!!", Dhriti said, giving hi-fi  to Ayush and giggling.

Both Ayush and Dhriti are the pranksters of the Shekhawat family. They are twin son and daughter of Ekansh's uncle, Mr. Varun Singh Shekhawat.

After fifteen minutes, Ekansh entered the house looking handsome as always. He moved towards them and greeted them.

Everyone had their dinner happily, discussing Ekansh and Kavya's marriage while the bride and groom were behaving like their families were discussing someone else's marriage.

" Ekansh Beta!! Go and take Kavya with you. Tomorrow, She is going to Mumbai for a month then you both will not get time to spend together", Ekansh's father,Viraj Singh Shekhawat, said.

Ekansh nodded his head and took her to the terrace.

Shekhawat siblings like to spend time on the terrace since it has a beautiful view of the city.

So, their terrace is decorated by siblings with lighting, lamps, couches, chairs, tables etc

" Sit!!", He said, in his rough voice.

Both of them sit on the couches opposite to each other.

Both of them got busy checking their cell phones instead of talking with each other.

Ekansh's siblings Aarav, Riya, Ayush and Dhriti were standing behind the wall, trying to

listen to what they are talking about.

When they don't hear any voice they try to sneak a peek.

They got shocked seeing them sitting silently and using their cellphone, ignoring each other.

" Bhai can never change. Instead of spending some quality time with his fiance, he is busy checking his cell phone", Riya said,in disbelief.

" Not only Bhai, look at Kavya Bhabhi.. She is lost in her own world. Both are too much. This is the first time I  am seeing a couple behaving like this", Ayush said, shaking his head in disappointment.

" I know this is going to happen only. I think now, I need to talk with Reeyansh bhai. Only he can make his best friend understand the importance of spending time with his fiancee", Aarav said,with determination.

" You should do this. Otherwise I don't know what will happen after their marriage. I thought Bhabhi would stop Bhai from spending this much time at work but now….", Dhriti said, pouting

" They are coming here", Riya said.

Four of them ran away from there and hid themselves in a room.

" Thank God!! Bhai didn't catch us otherwise we were gone", Ayush said, taking a breath of relief.

Ekansh and Kavya went downstairs to their families.

After some time, Goenka family left for  their home.

Ekansh and his family retired to their rooms for rest.

Ekansh entered his room which is located on the third floor.

The third floor of  Shekhawat Mansion contains Ekansh's room and his office only. His  siblings have their rooms on the second floor while their parents and grandparents have th

eir rooms on the First floor.

Ekansh went to the washroom to take a shower. After a shower, he went to the couch, taking laptop in his hands,to complete his pending work.
