Chapter 1:- Meet Her

Rathore House

" Good morning,Mom", A girl said, entering her house.

She had just returned from  jogging with her dad.

" Good morning,Adya", a lady said to her elder daughter, arranging the dining table.

" Good morning,Mrs Advika Dhruv Rathore!!", A man in his early 50's said to the lady, taking deep breaths.

" Good morning, Mr Dhruv Rathore", Advika said to her husband.

" How was jogging??", Advika asked her husband.

" I am not going tomorrow", Dhruv said, wiping his face with a towel.

" Your cholesterol is high. If you want to eat your favourite dishes then jogging is necessary", Advika  said, strictly.

" Please wifey!!", Dhruv said, trying to convince his wife.

" No!!", Advika said, strictly, not ready to compromise in the case of his health.

" Dad!! You can't convince Mom in this matter. She is not going to compromise when it's about your health so forget it and continue your jogging", Adya, who was hearing them, said giggling.

Mr Dhruv Rathore is a big foodie but his cholesterol remains high due to age so it's his wife's duty to send him to jog everyday,to keep him healthy.

Adya drank her orange juice and went to her room to take shower and get ready for her University. She is working as a Professor in a reputed University.

Adya's room is on the second floor along with her siblings.

Her room is beautifully decorated by her. Its colour gives a classy and elegant feel. The room tells many things about her like she loves to read books since her room is filled with lots of books.

Adya comes out of the washroom wearing a beautiful plazo suit. She pick some books and her bag before going downstairs.

" Come!! Breakfast is ready", her mother, Advika, said.

Her father is sitting on the head chair, reading today's newspaper.

" Where is bro and Ishani?", Adya asked, eating her toast.

" Aarnav left for the office while Ishani is sleeping in her room since she was making designs for her upcoming fashion show last night", her mom informed her while filling her father's glass with juice.

Her elder brother, Aarnav Rathore, is working in their company as a CEO while her younger sister, Ishani Rathore, is a fashion designer and has her own boutique.

" Okay!! I am going now, Bye!!", Adya said and went outside.

She drives her car to reach her University on time. She reached her University in twenty minutes.

" Good morning,Mam", Many students greet her on the way. She nodded her head, giving them a smile.

She reached her cabin within five minutes. She was checking a student's project file when bell rings.

She picked her bag and reached the classroom.

" Good morning students!! Today, We are going to study about…..", Adya said introducing the new topic.

She was teaching the classroom when someone came.

" Mam, Dean Mam is calling you to her office", a man informed her.

" okay!! I am coming", Adya said.

" We will continue tomorrow", She informed her Students and left for the Dean's office.

She knocked on the office door before entering the cabin.

" Good morning,Mam", Adya said, greeting her.

" Adya, I was waiting for you. I want to talk about something important", Dean said to Adya.

" Our University wants to send two professors to the National conference as our University's representative. We want to send you and Mrs Bakshi next month", Dean said to Adya.

" Okay!! How long is this conference? And Where?", Adya asked.

" It's organised in Chandigarh and you need to attend this conference for seven days. Do you have any problem?", Dean asked her.

" No!! I don't have any problem. I am ready to attend this conference", Adya said.

" It's great,'' Dean said.

In the evening, Adya call her mother.

" Mom, I am going to meet Rehaan and Naira. I will be a little late", Adya informed her mother before leaving for the cafe, near her University.

" Sorry!! I am late", Adya said to her best friends Rehaan Ranawat and his wife Naira Ranawat.

She knows Naira from her school days while they both have met Rehaan in their college which turned them into an inseparable trio. Later Rehaan and Naira's friendship turns into love. They got married last year in the present of their families.

" No problem!!", Naira said, side hugging her.

" So how is marriage life going?? Is she troubling you?", Adya asked Rehaan in a teasing way.

" Of course, she is always there to trouble me. She make me do all the housework", Rehaan said, doing melodrama.

" You lier!!", Naira said, hitting him on his shoulder.

" See, she always beats me. My wife is so violent", he said, showing fake tears.

Adya giggled hearing his melodrama.

" Leave him!! How is University going??", Naira asked her.

They start talking about daily life while having coffee.

After drinking their coffee, Adya put the cup on the table before looking in their eyes. Both of them got nervous seeing her this serious.

" Does she know??", Both of them think in their mind.

" I know about his engagement", Adya said,in an emotionless voice.

Rehaan and Naira's  eye's widened hearing this. They don't want her to know about this, they don't want her to get hurt any more.

But they know this news can't be hidden since it's in the newspaper.

" Adya…" Naira tried to say.

" It's okay!! I'm fine. I know it will happen one day so I am prepared. Don't worry", Adya said, forcing a smile. Her eyes were a little wet.

Their hurt broke every time seeing Adya in pain. But they can't do anything,no one can.

"Leave all these things, I am going out of town next month for seven days", Adya informed them.

" Why??", Rehaan asked.

" University is sending two professors to attend a National Conference in Chandigarh", Adya informed them.

" Ohh…we are also going to London next month to attend my aunt's daughter's wedding and Rehaan also has some work there.", Naira informed her.

" For how many days??", Adya asked.

" Around two to three weeks,I think", Rehaan said.

" Good!!", Adya replied.

Later in thenight, Adya informed her parents about her upcoming trip to Chandigarh.

Adya's parents never stop them when it's related to their work.
